He was predeceased by: his parents, McKinley Johnson Shifflett and Della Mae Shifflett; and his siblings, Charles Morris and Shirley Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Audrey Shifflett; his children, David Fredericks, Amanda McClurg and Katie Green; his siblings, McKinley Johnson Shifflett, Jr. (Sue Shifflett) and Audrey Owens; his grandchildren, Dean, Roman, Patricia, Kristen Fredericks, Paige Feely, Joseph Fredericks and Leighanne Bruce; and his nieces and nephews, Rachel Engler, Nancy Colona, Della Rosenberger, Mckinley, Charles Morris, Billy Johnson and Henry Schoen.
With limitations made to funeral practices due to the COVID-19 pandemic, David's family is planning a private Graveside Service at Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens where David will be laid to rest.
