He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Vincent George Russell and Gertrude Luft Russell; his sister Joan Russell Pescetelli; his wife Nancy Ramey Russell of Pawleys Island; his children, Richard Bassett (Mariko Oda) of New York City, NY and Jill McKellar (Mark) of Pawleys Island, SC; his grandchildren, Hank, Kenta and Ramey Anne; his sister Pat Farrell (Bill) of Port St; his brothers-in-law, Dave Pescetelli and Don Prevatte of Mt Pleasant, SC; and his goddaughter Caroline Fong. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, and many supportive friends.
