He was predeceased by : his parents, Phillip M. Ward and Phyllis Kirkpatrick Ward. He is survived by : his siblings, Judith Featenby, Jeffrey and Thomas Ward; his wife Sarah L. Dingle of Georgetown, S. C.; his daughters, Debra Duffey of Calabash, N. C. and Sally Ward of Pawleys Island; and his brother-in-law Robert H. Featenby. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held on Monday, June 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens (1640 Pennyroyal Rd, Georgetown, SC 29440).

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to Duncan United Methodist Church (https://duncanumcsc.com) or All4Paws Animal Rescue.
