He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip M. Ward and Phyllis Kirkpatrick Ward. He is survived by: his siblings, Judith Featenby, Jeffrey and Thomas Ward; his wife Sarah L. Dingle of Georgetown, S. C.; his daughters, Debra Duffey of Calabash, N. C. and Sally Ward of Pawleys Island; and his brother-in-law Robert H. Featenby. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
