He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmet Baney and Mary Baney; and his siblings, Elizabeth, William and James.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy; his son Bob Baney III; his grandchildren, Camden Baney and Christopher Baney; his children, Jim Baney (Linnea), Lydia, Lilliana, Lindy and Mary Ann "Molly" Baney; and his brother Dr. Richard Baney (Carolyn). He is also survived by three children.
