We are sad to announce that on October 1, 2023, at the age of 77, Patricia Richardson (Pawleys Island, South Carolina), born in Newark, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Burke and Mary Burke. She is survived by: her brother Joseph Burke Patricia; her husband James; her children, Joe (Dorota Richardson) of Maryland and Ellen (Scott Sullivan) of Pawleys Island; and her grandchildren, Patrick, Emma, Ania and Nicholas.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that contributions be made in Patricia's name to Tidelands hospice at http://www.tidelandshospice.org. or St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital at http://www.stjude.org.

“Jim and family….I was worried about Pat since she hadn’t played Words With Friends in a while. She was so sweet. We had great times in HS on the basketball team (she played and I was manager). I was so happy to reconnect on FB. Although we hadn’t seen each other in years, the connection was still there. (I also knew her brother from the Essex Shillelaghs when my Dad was a member). I’m sending hugs and prayers for her family and friends. She will be greatly missed.”
