He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Burl Whittaker, Sr. and Thelma Irene; his wife Wadalene "Wade" Whittaker of Pawleys Island; his siblings, Colleen Taylor and Carl Whittaker; and his nieces and nephews, Cindy Taylor Stevens, Samantha Whittaker, Mark, Steven and Tim Taylor.
