He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Sara Elizabeth Reedy; his girlfriend Doris M. Rankine of Pawleys Island; his sons, Matthew Reedy (Julie) of Virginia and John Reedy (Kari) of North Carolina; and his stepchildren, Daniel Rankine of Florida, Diana Jones of South Carolina and Rita Clarke (Peter) of Florida. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren; one great grand-daughter.
