He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold M. Ness and Anna Ullrich Ness. He is survived by: his wife Pamela G. Ness; his sister Bettyann Black; his children, Laura Peffers, Pamela Mackinnell, Sarah Robinson and William Ness; and his stepchildren, Kimmberly Bulkley, Kelly Newman and Scott Bulkley. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and two great grandsons.
