He was predeceased by: his parents, Darwin Gatlin and Betty Gatlin; his siblings, Ronald Gatlin (Judy), Sheron Coats (Stan), Dennis and Darrell; and also, Dale and Marie Knowles.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Sue Knowles; his daughters, Dana Byrum (Tom), Angela Iceberg (Jeff) and Kristen Gatlin; his grandchildren, Brittni Whitley (Graham), Corrine Flanagan (Nick), Erica Ek (Eric), Kayleigh Reeg, Jacob Iceberg (Elise Mitchell), Kennedy Griffeth (Nick), Madison Carroll (Ben), Morgan Reeg, Carlos Marinho (Courtney), Scottie Flanagan, Christian Whitley, Marshall Flanagan, Britta Ek, Maya Mitchell Iceberg, Raelyn Griffeth, Moises Marinho and Rachelle Marinho; and his siblings, Dallas Gatlin (Nola), Cindy Pullara (Michael) and Janene Sholes. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
