Dorothy Anita Gamble Baker Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Anita Gamble Baker of Pawleys Island, South Carolina, who passed away on January 25, 2021 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Goodman Gamble and Dorothy Dennis Gamble; and her brother William Beasley Gamble (Buddy). She is survived by: her husband Laurin M. Baker (Larry); her children, Jennifer Baker Reid of Arlington, VA and William Ryan Baker (Joy) of Bakersville, NC; and her grandchildren, John Ryan Reid of Arlington, Eva and Robin Baker of Bakersville.

In light of the continued COVID-19 crisis, and in honor of her 50 years as a nurse and her life-long dedication to the healthcare profession, services will be private and by invitation only.
