We bid farewell to David L Prentice of Pawleys Island, South Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 29, 2024 at the age of 82. David touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Prentice and Alta Prentice. He is survived by: his wife Marsha Rees Prentice; his children, Andrew Prentice and Bethany Prentice; his grandson Alex Myers; his sister Ann Prentice Hamilton (Christopher); his children, Stephen Hamilton (Lesley Davidson) and Elizabeth Prentice Short (Joe); his aunts, Bonnie Prentice and Lois Prentice Thorp; his great-nieces, Madeleine Short and Lillian Short; his sisters-in-law, Linda Rees (Ed Baxter) and Meredith Rees Creighton; his nieces and nephews, Christopher Wallace, Layne Creighton Cameron (Mark) and Jay Creighton; and his great-nephews, Clay Cameron and Cole Cameron.
A memorial service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the All Saints Church (3560 Kings River Rd, Pawleys Island, SC 29585).
