He was predeceased by: his parent Ellis Dumont; and his son Matthew Dumont. He is survived by: his parent Cora Dumont; his wife Clare; and his children, Jennifer Pankau (David), Michael Dumont (Sharon), Boyd Dumont (Suzanne), Stephen Dumont (Jamie) and Gregory Dumont (Tracy).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Precious Blood of Christ Catholic Church or to Georgetown Hospice.
