The memory of Charles H Meade of Pawleys Island, South Carolina, who passed away on February 10, 2025 at the age of 85, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. In the sacred silence of farewell, Charles is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Charles' spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Lauren Louise Tamblyn; and his niece Wendy Adams. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Dillon; and his children, Kristen M. Tamblyn (Charles) of Neptune Beach, FL, Charles J. Meade (Debra) of Centerville, VA and Michael G. Meade (Joy) of Slidell, LA. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the All Saints Old Chapel (3560 Kings River Rd, Pawleys Island, SC 29585).

The family suggests memorial contributions to All Saints Church (https://www.allsaintspawleys.org), Pawleys Island, SC, St Jude Children's Research Hospital or a charity of the donor's choice.

“Charlie and I both loved cars. He was a Corvette guy, I'm a classic Thunderbird guy and have a 1957 T-Bird which I've owned for 23-years and drive it all over the country. If it wasn't for the Corvette, there never would have been a Ford Thunderbird and visa versa... and we had that conversation more than once. Our sympathies to his his wife Debbie and the family.
