With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Catherine Mitchum of Pawleys Island, South Carolina, born in Brownsville, Texas, who passed away on February 24, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon William Boynt and Elizabeth Ann Higginbotham Boynt; and her sisters, Gwen Strain and Jackie Atkins. She is survived by: her husband Anthony Craig Mitchum of Pawelys Island; her children, Anthony Craig Mitchum, II (Tina) of Collegeville, PA and Deanna Mitchum of Pawleys Island; her grandchildren, Savannah Mitchum of Collegeville, PA and Jentry Mitchum of Collegeville, PA; her pets, Jackson and Lola; her brother Vernon William "Billy" Boynt, Jr. of Walterboro; and her aunt Jeannette Gamble (family: Screven Baptist Church) of Columbia.
