He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Sarafino and Josephine Loria Sarafino; and his sisters, Teresa Vitale and Catherine Mavus. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Sarafino (Kurman); his children, Michael Sarafino (Lisa), MaryAnne Rose (Karl), Gina Petrone (David) and Andrew J. Sarafino; his grandchildren, Jason Sarafino (Allison), Nicole Ort (William), Samantha Ray (Bryant), Alexander Petrone and Brianna Petrone; his stepgrandson Robert Mason; his great grandchildren, Jayce Sarafino, Alexa Ray and Jaxson Ray; his brothers, Richie Sanzo (Joanie) and Alex Windrem; and his sisters-in-law, Marianne Kurman, Ottilia Catterson, Beatrice Rodenbaugh and Helen Frangelli (John). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Church of the Holy Trinity (60 Maple St, Bridgewater, NJ 08807).
