He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Hartwell and Hester O'Shields Farmer; and his sisters-in-law, Gail Brown and Marie Farmer. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Brown Farmer; his children, Jeff Farmer (Rebecca Mary) and Gina Ponder (Danny); his grandchildren, Nicholas Farmer, Danny Ray Ponder, Berry Ponder, Justin Ponder and Jessica Duch; his siblings, Brenda Compton (L. C.), Rev. Jimmie Farmer (Jane), Robert Farmer and Sammy Farmer (Pam); and his uncle Donald O'Shields.
