He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Godfrey Sr. and Zelzie Crowe Godfrey; and his brother Curtis Godfrey. He is survived by: his daughters, Maria Buckley of Waterloo and Tiffany Owens of Pacolet; his stepson Scottie Ellason of Chesnee; his brothers, Paul Godfrey, Jr. of Enoree, Abrain Godfrey of Enoree, Bobby Godfrey of Duncan, Eddie Godfrey of Spartanburg, Steve Godfrey of Georgia and Keith Godfrey of Woodruff; and his grandchildren, Lief Buckley, Alex Coffman, Alexus Coffman, Faye Ellason and Maddison Ellason.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary to help with final expenses.
