He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Spears and Ruth Lancaster Gambrell. He is survived by: his wife Pauline Hendrix Gambrell; his daughters, Sheila (Clif) and Rita (Danny); his grandchildren, Terry (Betty Ann), Joshua (Nikki), Justin (Michelle), Jonathan, Nathan, Keenan (Marissa), Kaitlyn (Daniel), Lauren and Matt (Jennifer); his great grandchildren, Leilah, Lana, Thomas, Lily, Hunter, Fisher, Charlotte Grace, Baby Gambrell, Carter, Avery and Easton; and his sisters, Mary Ellen Drake and Bobbie Sullivan.
