He is survived by: his wife Estelle Layton Pruitt; his children, Nelson Pruitt (Debbie) of Pauline, Ronnie Pruitt (Evelyn) of Pauline, David Pruitt of Pauline, Dean Roberts (Kathy) of Spartanburg and Beth Jennings (Tim) of Pauline; and his grandchildren, Allen Pruitt (Arielle), Elise Dawson (John), Michael Jennings (Meaghan), David Pruitt II and Ashley Pruitt.
