She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Mansel and Doris Watts Layton; and her former husband Jack Thomas. She is survived by: her husband James Arnold Clayton; her children, Charles Mansel Thomas, Jack Anthony Thomas (Tasha), Christopher Bryan Thomas and Marissa Thomas; her grandchildren, Mia Thomas, Devonne Stribling, Jackson and Paeton Thomas; her great grandchildren, Lanning and Oliver Stribling; and her brother David Layton (Patti).
