He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlton Covan and Ollie Belle Dorman Covan; and his brothers, Darrell and Baron Covan. He is survived by: his wife Linda Dornberg Covan; his children, Michael Wayne Covan, Anthony Ray Covan (Monica) of Spartanburg, Neecie Smith (Todd) of Pauline and Donnie Carlton Covan, Jr. (Loren) of Reidville, SC; and his sister Vivian Moon of Gray Court, SC.. He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren; his 8 great-grandchildren.
