He was predeceased by: his parent Rufus Webster Silvey; and his siblings, Frances, Betty Brooks, Edward, Robert, Bobby, Cecil and Kenny Silvey.
He is survived by: his parent Nellie Lou Kesler Silvey; his wife Elaine McGarity Silvey; his children, Ronda S. King of Pauline, SC, Michael Silvey of Spartanburg, SC and Andy Silvey of Pauline, SC; his grandchildren, Donald A. Silvey of Pauline, SC, Jeremy King of Inman, SC and Blake King of Woodruff, SC; his great grandchild Jaxon Silvey of Indiana; and his sisters, Patsy Williams, Sherry Price and Janice Huntley.
