He was predeceased by: his mother Margaret McQueen; and his brother Dennis Searcy. He is survived by: his son Kevin Searcy (Candace) of Asheville; his father Earl Searcy of Fairview; and his siblings, David Searcy of Black Mountain and Donna Hughes. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
