He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Douglas Hardy, Sr. and Frances Jeter Hardy; and his brothers, Jesse Hardy, Willie Hardy, Roosevelt Hardy, Sr., Ulysses Hardy and Deloyd Hardy.
He is survived by: his wife Allie Lee Hardy; his sons, James Wesley Hardy of Jonesville, SC, Leonard Hardy (Terrey) of Gaffney, SC, Richard Lewis Hardy (Theresa) of Valdosta, GA and Clifford Eugene Hardy (April) of Charlotte, NC; and his brother Joseph Smith (Robin) of Jonesville, SC. He is also survived by his in-laws; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
