She was predeceased by: her parents, William Carl Teal and Ethel Tyner Teal; her husband J. D. Perdue; her daughter Elaine Boan; her siblings, William Harvey Teal, Nancy Louise Teal, Peggy Hill and Evelyn Teal; and her grandsons, Michael Tiller and Matthew Chisholm.
She is survived by: her children, Earnie Starling, Wanda Smith (Mike), Lydia, Michelle Weatherford, N. C. and Monroe "Buddy" Tiller (Judy); and her siblings, Ethelene Tyner and C. E. "Buck" Teal (Mary). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
