He is survived by: his children, Marion Newman (Jeff) of Lexington and Jim Cranford (Sue) of Myrtle Beach; his niece Linda Tolson of Patrick; his grandchildren, Austin Newman, Wesley Newman and Shaun Cranford (Allison); his great grandchildren, Will Cranford and Hayes Cranford; and his sisters, Myrtle Jones and Joann Johnson.
