He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Richardson Hearne; his parents, J. B. Hearne and Bertha Poston Hearne; and his siblings, Mary Newell, Challis Miles, Darvin Miles and Vonnie Hearne.
He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Hearne; and his siblings, Pauline Hinshaw (Steve) of Raleigh, NC, Raymon Hearne of Evergreen, Rudy Hearne of Goose Creek and Shirley Rhame (George) of Florence.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Carolina Funeral Home (215 E Hwy 378 Byp, Lake City, SC 29591). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Prosser Cemetery (3359 Big Swamp Rd, Pamplico, SC 29583).
