He was predeceased by: his parents, William Eugene Jones and Gernon Bazen Jones; his son Christopher Jones; and his brother Mitchell Jones. He is survived by: his wife Jewel Herring Jones of Pamplico; his children, Ashley Jones of Pamplico and Kathy Wilson (Wesley) of Denver, NC; his grandchildren, Georgia Jones of Pamplico, Ava Grace Isgett of Pamplico, Eady Wilson of Denver, NC and Finley Wilson of Denver, NC; and his sister Sherry Dowdy (Tommy) of Pamplico.
