Violette Turner Collins Obituary
Mrs. Violette Turner Collins, 94, passed away Thursday, September 26, 2024 in Charleston, SC.
Mrs. Violette was born in the Hannah community of Pamplico, a daughter of the late Dura and Bernie Gaskins Turner. She worked as a Teachers' Assistant. Mrs. Violette loved being outdoors working with her flowers in the garden. She also enjoyed antiques.
Mrs. Violette is survived by daughters Pamela Collins, Diane (Richard Glenn) Gunter, and Christine (Glen) Boatwright as well as eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Violette was predeceased by her husband, Houston C. Collins.
The family would like to extend special heart-felt gratitude and love to Michelle Powers for her many hours of companionship and assistance to Mrs. Violette.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 29, 2024 in the Turner Cemetery, 4110-4220 State Road S-21-597 Pamplico, SC 29583.
