He was predeceased by: his wife Clara B. Pait. He is survived by: his children, Richard "Rick" Pait (Cheryl) of Hampton, SC and Patti P. Jeffcoat of Bamberg, SC; and his grandchildren, Amy Myrick (Jay), Rebecca Willis (Birt), Meg Williams (Bradley), Rich Jeffcoat (Taylor Way), Jon-Derek Jeffcoat (Alex) and Beau. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
