He was predeceased by: his parents, Waldo Blanton and Marjorie Watts Blanton; his son Benji; and his wife Gail. He is survived by: his daughter Jill Ard (Banning) of Pamplico; his grandchildren, Eli and Emma Ard; and his brother Tony Blanton (Anita) of Ridgeland. He is also survived by niece and a nephew and many close friends.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Blanton Cemetery.
