Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Laverne Ard of Pamplico, South Carolina, who passed away at the age of 85, on January 16, 2021. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gertrude Hughes Ard and J. Samuel Ard; his siblings, Jimmy Ard and Janice Ard Clark; and his stepdaughter Michelle Hanna.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Cain Ard; his children, Andy Ard (Karla), David Ard and Becki Hudson (Byron); and his stepson Stanford Hanna (Dede). He is also survived by four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Due to the current COVID-19 concerns, social distancing will be observed.
