He is survived by: his wife Tammy Morgan Smith of Pamplico; his children, Christy Smith of Darlington, William "Neil" Smith (Lisa) of Pamplico and Katherine Smith (Josh) of Pamplico; his grandchildren, Leah Evans (Josh) of Pamplico, Ethan Smith of Pamplico, Brayleigh Smith of Pamplico, Seth Osborne of Pamplico, Emberly Poston of Pamplico and Michael Weatherford of Darlington; his great grandchild Violet Evans of Pamplico; and his siblings, Paul Wayne Smith of Pamplico and Helen Kilby of Fayetteville, NC. He is also survived by many aunts, nieces and nephews.
