It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Cox (Pamplico, South Carolina), who passed away on December 12, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Cox and Carrie McWhite Cox; his sister Wilhemina Cox Johnson; and his wife Eddie Mae Cain Cox. He is survived by: his children, Freda Cox of Pamplico, SC and Joey Cox of Kirkland, Washington; his granddaughter Debasha Cox of Brooklyn; his niece Henrietta Johnson Becoat of Queens; his great-niece Pleshett Johnson; his great-nephew Basil Becoat; and his cousin Alma Lee Davis. He is also survived by six nieces and one nephew; one great-great-niece and two great-great-nephews.
