He was predeceased by: his parents, James Dewey Poston and Pauline Collins Poston; his grandsons, Clint Douglas Poston and Coleman Geral Poston; and his siblings, Paula Devon Eaddy and James Janis Poston.
He is survived by: his wife Fannie Jo Powell Poston of Pamplico; his children, Myra Elaine Poston Coleman (Wayne) of Hemingway, Adrian Douglas Poston of Pamplico and Tommy Geral Poston (Debbie McAllister) of Lake City; his sister Ellen Evone Morris of Lake City; and his grandchildren, Christopher Coleman (Stacy) of Florence, Brooks Coleman (Autum) of Florence, Lauren C. Prosser (Chris) of Georgetown, Brandon D. Poston (Candice Hardee) of Green Sea, Erin B. Britt (Josh) of Darlington, Preston Poston (Christy Parrott) of Pamplico and Adam Tyler Poston (Jessi Sims) of Pamplico.
