He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Putnam of Pamplico; his children, Perry Putnam Covington (John Dantzler, Jr.) of Prosperity, SC, Harvey Willis Putnam, Jr. (Denise) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Anne Gray Humphries (Wade) of Johnsonville, SC.; his grandchildren, Emily Grace Covington of Prosperity, SC, John Dantzler Covington, III of Prosperity, SC, Joshua Harvey Putnam of Myrtle Beach, SC and Avery Lynee Putnam of Myrtle Beach, SC; his sister-in-law Irene Keretses Putnam of Cherry Grove, SC; and his nephew Stephen Stokes Putnam (Angela) of Florence, SC..
