She was predeceased by: her parents, James Walters and Cornelia Mitchell Walters; her son Eddie Richardson; her brothers, John Walters (Louise), Jerry Walters and Jonathan Walters (Vivian); and her grandson John Karim Wadir Hardy.
She is survived by: her son William Walters (Gloria) of Lilburn, GA; her grandchildren, LaShonna Hardy (Thomas), Sitka Noudjo (David), Gerald Walters (Tequila) and William Walters Jr.; her sisters-in-law, Edith Richardson of Rimini, SC and Odell Walters of Boynton Beach, FL; her daughter Willie Gibson (Sue) of Summerton, SC; and also Willie Mae Hardy-Reed. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, adopted daughters, sons, and grandchildren.
