He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Kenneth Timmons and Rena Margie Boatwright; his wife Mary Hemphill; his daughter Tonya Timmons; his aunts and uncles, Anna Mae Belin, Lessie Bennett, Isaiah Benbow and Roland Boatwright; his daughter Alicia Timmons of Harrisburg, NC; his grandson Quasem Spry of Florence, SC; his sister Shirley Ann Brown (Herbert) of Pamplico, SC; his aunts, Daisy Jackson (Henry), Eva Benbow of Marion, SC and Edna Mae Brown (Luther) of Pamplico, SC; and his uncle Robert Davis (Shirley) of Marion, SC. He was also cherished by parents and grandparents.
