He is survived by: his wife Margie Bess of Pageland, SC; his children, Brandon Bess of Wilkesboro, NC, Ashley Johnston (Mitchell) of Purlear, NC, Brandy Jordan (Chris) of Pageland, SC, Nicole Gibson (Tim) of Pageland, SC and Terri Wilson (Steve) of Virginia Beach, VA; his siblings, Michael Bess of Pageland, SC and Patty Funderburk (Ray) of Pageland, SC; and his grandchildren, Evan Wilson, Ariel Jordan, Allie Jordan, Sarah Johnston, Cadence Johnston, Mason Johnston, Emerson Gibson, James Gibson, Harper Bess and Hattie Bess. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
