He was predeceased by: his parents, Dexter Andrew Rowell, Sr. and Ione Lewis Rowell; his brother Dexter Rowell, Jr.; his former wife Darnell Bowling Rowell; and his son Donald Eugene Rowell.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Houston Rowell of Pageland, SC; his daughter Dana Rowell Berry (Tony) of Isle; his siblings, Danny Rowell of Yulee, FL and Linda Cheryl Rowell of Indian Land, SC; and his grandchildren, Tinsley Berry, Mary Addison Berry and Ross Berry.
