Betty Ruth Cato Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 24, 2024, at the age of 84, Betty Ruth Cato of Pageland, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Blake Tadlock and Bessie Reid Moser; her sister Elsie Jordan; her children-in-law, Pamela Fisher Cato and Terry Lowery; her brother-in-law Johnny Jordan; her grandson Joshua Cato; and her great grandchild Boone Cato.
She is survived by: her husband Jimmy "Pete" Cato of Pageland, SC.; her children, Jimmy Cato, Jr. (Libby) of Simpsonville, SC, Ronald Cato of Kannapolis, NC, Jeff Cato (Dorothy) of Indian Trail, NC and Denise Cato Lowery of Pageland, SC.; her grandchildren, Matthew Cato, Stephen Cato (Lauren), Allison Collom (Kyle), Andrew Brett Cato (Bae) of Brandon Cato, T. C, Lowery, Jr. (Carley) and Taylor Lowery Melton (Andarius); and her great grandchildren, Elena Cato, Ellison Cato, Grace Cato, Lillie Collom, Ivy Collom, Kira Cato, Miya Cato, Noah Cumbus, Jaxon Melton, Jazlyn Melton and Tripp Lowery III.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bethlehem Baptist Church (5732 Peach Orchard Rd, Pageland, SC 29728).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bethlehem Baptist Church, 5732 Peach Orchard Rd., Pageland, SC 29728 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
