She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde David and Alma Smith Myers; and her husband Harold Edward Deese. She is survived by: her daughter Janice Deese Palmer (Thomas) of Stallings, NC; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Oakes (Ryan) of Mint Hill, NC, Cassie Buchanon (Ben) of Stallings, NC, Caitlin Palmer of Chicago, IL, Jonathan Palmer and Major Thomas Palmer (Bethany) of Jacksonville, NC; her great grandchildren, Braydin Dupre, Austin Dupre, Kinsley Oakes, Cole Maddox Buchanon, Ella Palmer and Tucker Palmer; and her siblings, Irene Joplin, Violet Johnson (Orie), Verla Johnson and Sammy Myers (Myrtle). She is also survived by numerous special friends, nieces, nephews.
