She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Jenkins and Mary Hicks Jenkins; her brother Jerry Jenkins; and her husband Nick Austin Peay, Sr.. She is survived by: her son Nick Austin Peay, Jr. (Cheryl); and her grandson David Andrew Peay (Ann) of Pageland.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Of Pageland Fellowship Hall (203 Pigg St, Pageland, SC 29728). A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Pageland (203 Pigg St, Pageland, SC 29728).
