It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mazel McBride Owens (Pacolet, South Carolina), born in Lockhart, South Carolina, who passed away on August 5, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Vanderford and Della Wiggins Vanderford; and her sons, Richard McBride Jr. and Stephen McBride. She is survived by: her husband John "Perk" Owens; and her brothers, Charles "Buddy" Vanderford (Joyce) of Union, SC., Keith Vanderford (Teresa) of Union, SC. and Stanley Vanderford (Rita) of Union, SC.. She is also survived by four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
