She was predeceased by: her parents, Bennie Kirby and Inez Kirby of Pacolet, SC.; her husband Marshall Pennington of Spartanburg, SC.; and her sister Ala Willis of Bridgeport, Connecticut.. She is survived by: her aunts, Geraldine Justis of Inman, SC and Catherine Robinson of Union, SC; her nephew Mike Shaw of Florence, SC; her godchildren, Kaleb Vaughn of Pacolet, SC and Kaygan Nunn of Spartanburg, SC; and her close friend Christy Jordan (Jamie) of Pacolet, SC..
