He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Susan Teaster Smith; his parents, Curtis A. Smith and Pearlie Mae Wilson Smith; his son Curtis "Kurt" L. Smith (Rena) of Pacolet; his sisters, Ann Atkins (Donald) of Chesnee and Lynn Smith Scruggs of Boiling Springs; and his grandchildren, Hunter D. Smith, Alli Martin and Kaylee G. Smith.
