It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Rufus Lambert Jr. of Pacolet, South Carolina, who passed away on June 28, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Phoebe T. Lambert; his daughter Phoebe Anne Lambert; his granddaughter Katie Kieran McKeown; his parents, James R. Lambert and Maxie Q. Lambert; and his siblings, Bascom Lambert, Paul Lambert, Ralph Lambert and Norma Lambert Pasco.

He is survived by: his children, Linda Burns (Ric) and David Lambert (Ruth Ann); his grandchildren, Erin Gramling, Kerry Johnson (Robbie), Daniel McKeown, Becky Mathis (Adrian) and Chris Lambert; his great grandchildren, Kaleigh, Phoebe, Amelia and Kamden; and his pet Maggie.
