He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Joyner Surratt and Maurice D. Surratt; and his sister Bonnie Surratt. He is survived by: his wife Carroll Surratt; his siblings, Penny Surratt Crutchfield, Gainesville, Sandra Surratt, Bushnell, Maurice D Surratt Jr. Millbrook (Debbie) and Dale Surratt; his sons, Michael Monahan and Donnie Surratt; his stepdaughter Denise Estep; his grandchildren, Dylan, Matthew, Ryan, Ashley, Hannah and Kade; his uncle Jack; his aunt Patsy Joyner of Canton; and his cousin Glenn Surratt (Nanette). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
