He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Ulmer, Jr. and Bessie Johnson Ulmer; and his nephew Kenneth Scott Black. He is survived by: his wife Betty Bolin Ulmer; his sister Faye Ulmer Simpson; his nieces, Candy Hope Martin, Sandy Faith Black and Karen E. Buck; and his brother Ken Bolin (Cheryl).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. (1012 Whitman St SE, Orangeburg, SC 29115). A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Crestlawn Memorial Gardens (4830 Columbia Rd NE, Orangeburg, SC 29118).
