She was predeceased by: her parents, David E. Goldsmith and Mary L. Buskey Goldsmith; and her siblings, Betty Goldsmith Fields, Shirley Ann Summers, Gregory and Robert Goldsmith.
She is survived by: her husband Eric Owens of Bamberg, SC; her daughters, Erica Owens and Diamond Chatman (Cory) of Orangeburg, SC; her stepson Jacobi Owens of Aiken, SC.; her siblings, Daisy Goldsmith Davis (Ronald) of Columbia, SC and Elijah Goldsmith of Branchville, SC.; her aunts, Lottie Johnson of Branchville, SC. and Jesse Lee Buskey of Branchville, SC.; and her mother-in-law Dorothy Payne of Orangeburg, SC. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Glover's Funeral Home (2562 Charleston Hwy, Orangeburg, SC 29115). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. James Church of God (1946 Kennerly Rd, Orangeburg, SC 29118). All those attending service must wear a mask and adhere to all COVID-19 rules and regulations.
